The story

Titan was started by Samuel A. Gatlin, who has spent his career in the field on oil and gas projects: welding, inspection and getting the work signed off.

The logo says it best: an instrument bubble from the P&IDs, which also reads as a weld symbol, with the check mark an inspector puts on a finished job package. Every Titan tool is built around that idea: the work, on the drawing, verified.
